We are looking for the right people to be part our family business.
Where is the Role? We need a person to work in our Gold Coast office.
What type of employment is in offer? We are looking for the right person to take on a contract part time role 1-2 days per week.
What is the case load like? The case load is varied and it includes assessments and therapy, social skills groups and therapy for children with ASD. Therapy location varies from Ladybug House, home visits or the child's place of education, wherever the support is needed the most.
How many days are on offer? Initially 1-2 days but this will build.
Why should we trust Ladybug House? These roles are not for everyone, yes we are a family business and we have a particular style, but it may or may not be the right fit for you. However, if you are the right fit with the right skills, then the rest is easy. We have been operating since 2013 in Melbourne and built up a strong word of mouth reputation. We are a humble organisation and try our best and we acknowledge that we are not perfect, but we are using all experiences to improve the way we work. We are also working with a provider in Singapore to provide therapy overseas, early days, but these are the initiatives that we support and devote management time to.
Ladybug House is run by a family. Maria is a senior speech pathologist and has over 20 years experience, working at Autism Spectrum Australia in NSW, as a clinical educator at Latrobe University and has lectured in Singapore on ASD. She is responsible for all things clinical. Renato has over 20 years experience working in large and small businesses. He is currently working on his Doctorate which is related to patient feedback on health care services. He does everything else! Their children provide support by volunteering in the office and reception and you will often see them in and about Ladybug House. We want you to be part of the Ladybug House family. In doing so, your work will be more meaningfully connected with the families that come through the house.

Applicants for this position must have experience working with children with special needs in the age range of 2-7. You must have your own transport, current Working with Childrens Check/Blue Card and relevant qualifications and registrations.

- Current membership and AHPRA registration.
- Current Working with Childrens Check/Blue Card
- Drivers licence and own vehicle.
- One year previous work experience in Paediatrics
- Over 2 years clinical experience.
- Experience in working with children with ASD
